Illinois organizes $800 million sale of general obligation bonds for April 2

New York, March 13 - The State of Illinois plans to price $800 million of series of April 2013 general obligation bonds on April 2, according to a notice of sale.
The deal includes $450 million of series of April 2013A bonds and $350 million of series of April 2013B bonds.
The bonds will be sold competitively with Public Resources Advisory Group as the financial adviser.
The 2013A bonds are due 2014 to 2038, and the 2013B bonds are due 2014 to 2038.
Proceeds will be used to finance capital projects within the state.
