Illinois set to price $1.25 billion in G.O. certificates on Aug. 20

New York, Aug. 13 - Illinois is gearing up to sell $1.25 billion in series 2009 general obligation certificates on Aug. 20, according to a preliminary official statement.
The bonds will be sold on a competitive basis with AC Advisory as the financial adviser.
The bonds are due March 23, 2010, April 13, 2010 and June 10, 2010.
Proceeds will be used to fund general capital expenditures.
