American Express files automatic shelf registration covering debt

Knoxville, Tenn., June 18 - American Express Credit Corp. filed a debt securities and warrants automatic shelf registration in an S-3 ASR filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Proceeds will be used for financing operations.
The credit card issuer is based in Wilmington, Del.
