IIG reviewing unsolicited finance offer, other refinancing options

By Caroline Salls

Pittsburgh, Nov. 1 - IIG Funding Ltd. has received an unsolicited offer of finance from an international bank, which could prompt an offer related to IIG's debt obligations, according to a company news release.

IIG said it is evaluating this offer, as well as alternative refinancing options, with the help of its advisers.

In addition, the company said its newly constituted board of directors has approved the release of a KPMG Advisory WLL, Kuwait independent business review report to certificate holder who entered into confidentiality agreements with the company.

However, because of a delay in the release of the report, IIG said some of the information is outdated. The company's management has asked KPMG to work on an updated version of the report.

IIG - International Investment is an Al Safaa, Kuwait investment company.
