American Express to price notes due 2024 via four bookrunners

Knoxville, Tenn., July 25 – American Express Co. intends to offer dollar-denominated fixed-rate notes due 2024, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes may be called at par plus interest 31 days prior to maturity.
Barclays, Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., Mizuho Securities USA Inc. and RBC Capital Markets LLC are the bookrunners.
Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.
The credit card services company is based in New York.
