IESI-BFC files $750 million shelf registration covering stock, debt

Knoxville, Tenn., March 11 - IESI-BFC Ltd. filed a $750 million shelf registration in an F-10 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The amount includes some securities that were previously registered and unsold.

The registration covers debt securities, common shares and warrants.

The company will describe in a prospectus supplement how it plans to use the proceeds.

IESI-BFC is a full-service waste management company based in Toronto.
