IdleAire estate fully administered; Chapter 7 trustee seeks discharge

Pittsburgh, Dec. 14 – IdleAire Technologies Corp.’s Chapter 7 trustee asked to be discharged, saying the company’s estate has been fully administered, according to a Wednesday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

Trustee Alfred T. Giuliano said a total of $562,740 was distributed to claimants, and $98,588 in assets were abandoned.

The total expenses of the administration of the IdleAire estate were $880,167.

Giuliano said $1.44 million in net receipts were realized from the liquidation of estate property.

Based in Knoxville, Tenn., IdleAire is a privately held research and development company that provides products and services for the long-haul trucking freight industry. The company filed for bankruptcy on May 12, 2008. Its Chapter 7 case number is 08-10960.
