Moody's rates IDEX Baa2

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned a Baa2 senior unsecured issuer rating to IDEX Corp.

The outlook is stable.

IDEX's Baa2 rating captures the company's strong market position as a leading producer of highly engineered flow control mechanisms, fluidics systems and other specialized products, the agency said.

The rating is constrained by the company's relatively small scale as well as its acquisition-oriented growth strategy, Moody's said.
