New Issue: India’s Idea Cellular plans Rs. 5 billion five-year 7.77% debentures

Norfolk, Va., Jan. 12 – Idea Cellular Ltd. informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that it plans to issue Rs. 5 billion of five-year 7.77% unsecured redeemable nonconvertible debentures.

The debentures will be issued by private placement and listed on the National Stock Exchange of India Ltd.

The allotment date is Tuesday.

The mobile telecommunication services company is based in Mumbai.
