Fitch rates Idaho Housing bonds AAA, AA, A+

Fitch Ratings said it assigned ratings to Idaho Housing and Finance Association's single-family mortgage bonds, 2008 series B, including $30 million class I variable-rate at AAA/F1+; $19.2 million class I fixed rate at AAA; $3 million class II at AA; and $7.8 million class III at A+.

The bonds are expected to close on June 26.

Bond proceeds will provide about $56.4 million in available lendable funds to continue the association's single-family, first-time homebuyer mortgage purchase program. The program permits loans to be insured by the Federal Housing Administration, guaranteed by the Department of Veterans Affairs or the Rural Housing and Community Development Service, or insured by a qualified private mortgage insurance provider.
