India's Icici Bank buys back $16.25 million notes

New York, June 15 - Icici Bank UK plc bought back $16.25 million of notes from March 1 to June 4, according to a company notice filed with the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Ltd.

The bank bought $13 million of its floating-rate senior notes due June 2010. It redeemed the rest of the issue at maturity on June 14.

Icici also repurchased $3.25 million of its floating-rate senior notes due February 2012.

All notes were bought in the open market.

The bank said it may purchase additional notes from time to time.

The issuer is a unit of Mumbai, India-based Icici Bank Ltd.
