India's Icici Bank buys back $11.98 million floaters due June 2010

Tacoma, Wash., March 2 - Icici Bank UK plc repurchased $11,977,000 of its $500 million floating-rate senior notes due June 2010 in the open market between Dec. 5 and Monday, according to a company notice filed with the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Ltd.

The repurchased notes were canceled.

The bank said it may purchase additional notes from time to time.

The issuer is a unit of Mumbai, India-based Icici Bank Ltd.
