India's Icici Bank repurchases $56 million of senior unsecured bonds

New York, Oct. 30 - Icici Bank Ltd. said it has bought back a total of $56 million of its floating-rate senior unsecured bonds.

The repurchases include $17 million of the bank's floaters due June 2010 and $39 million of its floaters due February 2012.

Icici said the repurchase was carried out through the open market. A dealer acted on behalf of the Mumbai, India-based retail lender.
