Fitch revises Iceland view to negative

Fitch Ratings said it revised the outlook for Iceland to negative from stable and affirmed the government’s A rating.

“The revision of the outlook to negative reflects the deterioration in Iceland’s near-term growth and public finance outlook caused by the coronavirus pandemic and risk of further adverse impact on the economy,” Fitch said in a press release.
