JDA Software expects to acquire i2 Technologies Nov. 6

By Lisa Kerner

Charlotte, N.C., Oct. 20 - JDA Software Group, Inc. said it plans to complete its acquisition of i2 Technologies, Inc. on Nov. 6, the same day i2 shareholders will vote on the transaction.

In August, JDA agreed to acquire i2, a Dallas supply chain company, for $346 million, or $14.86 per share of i2 common stock.

Under the merger agreement, each issued and outstanding share of i2's series B convertible preferred stock will be converted into the right to receive $1,095.3679 in cash plus all accrued dividends, a prior news release said.

The proposed merger has received Hart-Scott-Rodino antitrust clearance, according to a JDA news release.

JDA is a Scottsdale, Ariz., software services provider.
