Two i2 Technologies directors, including former CEO, opt out of re-election run

By Lisa Kerner

Charlotte, N.C., Jan. 3 - Two directors of i2 Technologies, Inc.'s board, Harvey B. Cash and Michael E. McGrath, will not stand for re-election at the company's 2008 annual meeting, it was announced on Thursday.

Amalgamated Gadget LP affiliate R2 Top Hat, Ltd. intends to nominate J. Coley Clark and Richard L. Hunter for election to i2's board at the annual meeting, according to a company news release.

Cash has been an i2 board member since 1996 and is chairman of the compensation committee and a member of the nominating and governance committee.

McGrath, a board member since 2004, was i2's chief executive officer and president from February 2005 until July 2007.

The Dallas-based supply chain company said it plans to name a permanent CEO pending the outcome of its strategic review process announced in November. i2 expects the review to conclude at the end of January.

Pallab Chatterjee is the company's interim CEO and is also a candidate for the CEO position.
