Gabelli, Gamco maintain 2.7% stake in Hydril

Charlotte, N.C., April 10 - A group of Hydril Corp. investors led by Gabelli Funds, LLC and Gamco Asset Management Inc. purchased 210,000 shares of the company's stock between Feb. 13 and April 5 priced from $95.07 to $96.25 per share, according to a schedule 13D filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The investors beneficially own 494,900 shares, or 2.7%, of Hydril's shares.

On March 27, the same investors reported a 7.3% stake in the Houston-based company, which manufactures pressure control products used in oil and gas drilling.
