Hurricane Hydrocarbons to sell minimum $100 million senior notes via JP Morgan

By Paul A. Harris

St. Louis, Jan. 15 - Hurricane Hydrocarbons will hold a roadshow during the week of Jan. 27 to promote a minimum $100 million offering of senior notes with an intermediate maturity of either five or seven years, according to a source close to the deal.

The notes will likely price around Feb. 3, the source added.

JP Morgan is the bookrunner for the Rule 144A notes, which are non-callable.

Proceeds will be used for capital expenses and for general corporate purposes.

The emerging markets issuer is an independent, integrated international energy company engaged in exploration, production, refining, marketing and export of crude oil and refined products in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
