Hunt starts roadshow for $525 million seven-year notes via Jefferies

Portland, Ore., Feb. 6 - Hunt Cos. began a roadshow on Thursday for a $525 million offering of non-rated seven-year notes, according to an informed source.

Jefferies LLC is leading the deal, which is set to price on Monday.

The notes - which are coming as a Regulation D private placement but will be exchanged into Rule 144A and Regulation S notes upon closing - come with four years of call protection.

The El Paso, Texas-based real estate company plans to use the proceeds to repay debt, as well as to fund current and future acquisitions and for general corporate purposes.
