Human Genome estimates upped by JMP

Human Genome Sciences Inc. was reiterated by JMP Securities analyst Charles Duncan at a market outperform rating with a price target on the stock of $21 per share following the company's earnings, which beat estimates. On the results, JMP raised its estimates for 2005 revenues to $6.0 million from $4.1 million and a narrower loss per share of $1.91 from $1.93. Human Genome shares Tuesday gained $0.73, or 5.16%, to close at $14.88 on volume of 3,916,071 shares versus the three-month running average of 1,747,210 shares.
