New Issue: HSBC sells $135,000 buffered AMPS linked to Russell, Nasdaq

Olympia, Wash., Nov. 1 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $135,000 of 0% buffered Accelerated Market Participation Securities due Feb. 1, 2021 tied to the least performing of the Nasdaq-100 index and the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.5 times any gain of the lesser performing index, up to a maximum return of 13.3%.
Investors will receive par if the lesser performing index falls by up to 10% and will lose 1% for each 1% decline of the lesser performing index beyond 10%.
