New Issue: HSBC prices $1.51 million buffered AMPS linked to EM index

Columbus, Ohio, Aug. 5 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $1.51 million of 0% buffered Accelerated Market Participation Securities due Aug. 5, 2021 linked to the Euro Stoxx 50 ETF, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
If the ETF return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus double the ETF return, subject to a maximum return of 22.1%. Investors will receive par if the ETF declines by 10% or less and will lose 1% for every 1% that it declines beyond 10%.
