New Issue: HSBC prices $1.18 million buffered AMPS due 2022 linked to S&P

Chicago, July 15 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $1.18 million of 0% buffered Accelerated Market Participation Securities due June 10, 2022 tied to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus double any index gain, up to a maximum return of 25%.
Investors will receive par if the index finishes flat or falls by up to 15% and will lose 1% for each 1% decline beyond 15%.
