New Issue: HSBC sells $1.51 million buffered AMPS due 2021 on index, ETF basket

Olympia, Wash., June 28 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $1.51 million of 0% buffered Accelerated Market Participation Securities due July1, 2021 linked to a basket consisting of the shares of S&P 500 index with a 70% weight, the Russell 2000 index with a 15% weight and the iShares MSCI EAFE ETF with a 15% weight, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.5 times any basket gain, up to a maximum return of 16.65%.
Investors will receive par if the basket falls by up to 15% and will lose 1% for every 1% decline beyond 15%.
