HSBC to price three-year market-linked notes tied to S&P 500 index

Olympia, Wash., Nov. 13 – HSBC USA Inc. plans to price 0% market-linked notes due Nov. 30, 2021 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus any index gain, capped at par plus 20% to 24%.
Investors will receive par if the index finishes flat or falls.
HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. and UBS Financial Services Inc. are the agents.
The notes will price on Nov. 27 and settle on Nov. 30.
The Cusip number is 40435UAX2.
