New Issue: HSBC sells $5.08 million autocallable securities on Euro Stoxx 50

Morgantown, W.Va., Oct. 17 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $5.08 million of 0% autocallable securities due Oct. 15, 2021 linked to the Euro Stoxx 50 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will be called at par plus a premium of 9.5% per year if the index closes at or above its initial level on any quarterly observation date.

If the notes are not called and the index return is zero or positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus 28.5%.

If the index falls by up to 20%, the payout will be par.

Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for each 1% index decline below the initial level.

HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. is the agent with Morgan Stanley Wealth Management handling distribution.
