New Issue: HSBC prices $1.44 million buffered accelerated market participation notes tied to Euro Stoxx 50

Columbus, Ohio, Oct. 2 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $1.44 million of 0% buffered accelerated market participation securities due March 29, 2021 linked to the Euro Stoxx 50 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus triple any index gain, subject to a maximum return of 40%. Investors will receive par if the index declines by 10% or less and will lose 1% for every 1% that it declines beyond 10%.
