Columbus, Ohio, Oct. 2 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $4.8 million of 0% buffered accelerated market participation securities due May 26, 2020 linked to the iShares MSCI EAFE ETF, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.5 times any ETF gain, subject to a maximum return of 13.8%. Investors will receive par if the ETF declines by 20% or less and will lose 1.25% for every 1% that it declines beyond 20%.
