New Issue: HSBC sells $666,000 buffered digital notes tied to Stoxx 50

Columbus, Ohio, Aug. 1 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $666,000 of 0% buffered digital notes due July 28, 2021 linked to the Euro Stoxx 50 index, according to a 424B2 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
If the index finishes at or above its 85% threshold level, the payout at maturity will be par plus the digital percentage of 21%.
Otherwise, investors will be exposed to any losses beyond the 15% buffer.
