HSBC plans buffered accelerated securities tied to iShares ACWI fund
New York, April 19 – HSBC USA Inc. plans to price 0% buffered accelerated market participation securities due Jan. 2, 2020 linked to the iShares MSCI ACWI exchange-traded fund, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus 150% of any ETF gain, subject to a maximum return that is expected to be at least 14% and will be set at pricing.
Investors will receive par if the fund declines by 5% or less and will lose 1% for each 1% decline beyond 5%.
HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. is the agent.
The notes will price on April 26 and settle on May 1.
The Cusip number is 40435FWW3.
