New Issue: HSBC prices $18.93 million trigger autocallable notes tied to S&P

Columbus, Ohio, April 11 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $18.93 million of trigger autocallable notes due April 15, 2020 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

After six months, the notes will be called at par plus an annualized premium of 9% if the index closes at or above its initial level on any quarterly observation date.

The payout at maturity will be par unless the index finishes below the downside threshold level, 75% of the initial level, in which case investors will lose 1% for every 1% loss of the index.
