New Issue: HSBC prices $8.49 million buffered AMPS on iShares MSCI ACWI ex U.S.

Morgantown, W.Va., March 22 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $8.49 million of 0% buffered Accelerated Market Participation Securities due March 22, 2021 linked to the iShares MSCI ACWI ex U.S. exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.5 times any ETF gain, up to a maximum return of 36%.

Investors will receive par if the ETF falls by up to 15% and will lose 1.1765% for every 1% decline beyond 15%.
