HSBC to price three-year buffered AMPS with cap linked to ACWI ETF

Morgantown, W.Va., March 15 – HSBC USA Inc. plans to price 0% buffered Accelerated Market Participation Securities due March 22, 2021 linked to the ACWI exchange-traded fund, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.5 times any ETF gain, up to a maximum return of at least 35% to 45%.
Investors will receive par if the ETF falls by up to 15% and will lose 1.1765% for every 1% decline beyond 15%.
HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. is the agent.
The notes will price on March 16.
The Cusip number is 40435FVX2.
