HSBC to price barrier AMPS linked to iShares MSCI Emerging Markets ETF

Morgantown, W.Va., March 6 – HSBC USA Inc. plans to price 0% barrier Accelerated Market Participation Securities due Sept. 14, 2020 linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets exchange-traded fund, according to an FWP filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the ETF return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus 1.5 times the return, subject to a maximum return of at least 34.35%.

Investors will receive par if the ETF declines by 25% or less and will be fully exposed to losses if it declines beyond 25%.

HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. is the agent.

The notes will price on March 7.

The Cusip number is 40435FWE3.
