New Issue: HSBC sells $796,000 4.25% buffered fixed-rate notes on Russell 2000

Morgantown, W.Va., Feb. 6 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $796,000 of buffered fixed-rate notes due Jan. 31, 2025 linked to the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes carry a coupon of 4.25%. Interest is payable quarterly.
The payout at maturity will be par unless the index falls by more than 15%, in which case investors will be exposed to declines beyond 15%.
