New Issue: HSBC sells $533,000 five-year market-linked notes tied to the Dow

Morgantown, W.Va., Oct. 10 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $533,000 of 0% market-linked securities with upside participation and contingent downside due Oct. 3, 2022 linked to the Dow Jones industrial average, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.2 times any index gain. If the index finishes flat or falls by up to 35%, the payout will be par.
Otherwise, investors will be fully exposed to the index decline.
