New Issue: HSBC sells $3.38 million buffered AMPS tied to iShares MSCI EM ETF

Morgantown, W.Va., April 25 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $3.38 million of 0% buffered Accelerated Market Participation Securities due April 22, 2019 linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus double any fund gain, up to a maximum return of 20.75%.

Investors will receive par if the fund falls by up to 10% and will lose 1% for every 1% decline beyond 10%.
