HSBC pushes back pricing date for barrier AMPS on iShares EM

Morgantown, W.Va., Feb. 13 – HSBC USA Inc. amended the pricing date for its upcoming 0% barrier Accelerated Market Participation Securities due Feb. 15, 2022 linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets exchange-traded fund, according to an FWP filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will price on Feb. 17, instead of Feb. 10 as stated in a previous FWP filing.

If the ETF return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus 2 times the return, subject to a maximum return of at least 65%.

Investors will receive par if the ETF declines by 40% or less and will be fully exposed to losses if it declines beyond 40%.
