HSBC plans three-year PLUS linked to iShares MSCI Emerging Markets ETF

Morgantown, W.Va., July 12 – HSBC USA Inc. plans to price Performance Leveraged Upside Securities due July 18, 2019 linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets exchange-traded fund, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par of $10 plus 300% of any fund gain, up to a maximum return of 47.5%.
Investors will be exposed to any losses.
HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. is the underwriter with Morgan Stanley Wealth Management handling distribution.
The notes will price July 15.
The Cusip number is 40434V533.
