Norfolk, Va., March 9 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $1 million of 0% buffered Accelerated Market Participation Securities due Sept. 10, 2018 linked to the Energy Select Sector SPDR fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus two times any fund return, up to a maximum return of 42%.
The payout will be par if the fund declines by up to 10%, and investors will be exposed to losses beyond 10%.
