New Issue: HSBC prices $1.32 million buffered AMPS tied to Euro Stoxx

Morgantown, W.Va., Dec. 7 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $1.32 million of 0% buffered Accelerated Market Participation Securities due Nov. 30, 2017 linked to the Euro Stoxx 50 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
If the index return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus 2 times the index gain, subject to a maximum return of 24%. Investors will receive par if the index declines by 10% or less and will lose 1% for every 1% that it declines beyond 10%.
