San Luis Obispo, Calif., Aug. 3 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $625,000 of 0% buffered Accelerated Market Participation Securities due July 31, 2019 linked to the SPDR S&P Regional Banking exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
If the fund return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus 125% of the return, subject to a maximum return of 48%.
Investors will receive par if the fund falls by up to 10% and will lose 1% for each fund decline beyond the 10% buffer.
