New Issue: HSBC prices $2.57 million callable step-up notes with 1% initial rate

Chicago, July 16 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $2.57 million of callable step-up rate notes due July 17, 2018, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Interest will be 1% initially, stepping up to 2% on Jan. 17, 2017. Interest is payable semiannually.

The payout at maturity will be par.

The notes will be callable in 1.5 years.
