New Issue: HSBC prices $1.09 million notes linked to basket of seven stocks

Tacoma, Wash., April 6 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $1.09 million of 0% market-linked notes due April 8, 2020 linked to a basket of stocks, equally weighted, according to a 424B2 filing ,with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The underlying stocks are Altria Group Inc., Chevron Corp., Kimberly-Clark Corp., McDonald’s Corp., Merck & Co. Inc., PepsiCo, Inc. and Procter & Gamble Co.
If the basket return is greater than or equal to zero, the payout at maturity will be par plus the basket return, subject to a 26% cap. If the basket return is negative, the payout will be par.
HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. is the underwriter. J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and JPMorgan Chase Bank NA are the placement agents.
