Madison, Wis., April 1 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $3.15 million of 0% return optimization securities due April 29, 2016 linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus triple any gain in the fund, up to a maximum return of 16.55%.
Investors will be exposed to any losses.
HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. is the underwriter with UBS Financial Services Inc. as the agent.
