New Issue: HSBC prices $5 million capped leveraged notes on MSCI Emerging Markets

Madison, Wis., Dec. 30 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $5 million of 0% Capped Leveraged Index Return Notes due Dec. 28, 2018 linked to the MSCI Emerging Markets index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 168% times any index gain, up to a maximum return of 100%.

Investors will be fully exposed to losses.

BofA Merrill Lynch is the agent.
