New Issue: HSBC prices $511,000 buffered AMPS with cap linked to Russell 2000

Madison, Wis., Dec. 22 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $511,000 of 0% buffered Accelerated Market Participation Securities due Dec. 23, 2016 linked to the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus double any index gain, subject to a maximum return of 19.5%.
Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 10% and will lose 1% for every 1% decline beyond 10%.
