By Marisa Wong
Madison, Wis., Oct. 31 – HSBC USA Inc. plans to price autocallable yield notes due November 2015 linked to the common stocks of Biogen Idec Inc., Celgene Corp. and Gilead Sciences, Inc., according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes will carry a coupon of at least 10%. Interest is payable quarterly.
The notes will be called at par if each stock closes at or above its initial price on any call observation date beginning in February 2015.
The payout at maturity will be par unless any stock finishes below its 65% trigger level, in which case investors will be fully exposed to any losses of the worst performing stock.
HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. is the underwriter.
The notes will price and settle in November.
