New Issue: HSBC prices $515,000 buffered AMPS linked to iShares MSCI Emerging Markets

Tacoma, Wash., Aug. 28 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $515,000 of 0% buffered Accelerated Market Participation Securities due Aug. 29, 2016 linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
If the ETF return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus double the ETF return, subject to a maximum return of 17.5%. Investors will receive par if the ETF declines by 10% or less and will lose 1% for every 1% that it declines beyond 10%.
