San Luis Obispo, Calif., July 30 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $530,000 of 0% buffered Accelerated Market Participation Securities due July 31, 2017 linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus two times any gain in the fund, subject to a maximum return of 25%.
Investors will receive par if the fund falls by up to 10% and will be exposed to declines beyond the 10% buffer.
